Electrical Product Sales, Inc. was formed in 1991 under the name of Electrical Power Products, Inc. Our major line was ABB Power T&D Company, Inc. Initial sales in 1991 were $2.5 million. To date, EPS has grown many times over in volume with the initial lines and has added many additional lines to complement our portfolio as displayed in the Products category of our website. We are proud to be members of EERA (Electrical Equipment Representatives Association) and MANA (Manufacturers’ Agents National Association).
Billy Simon, Jr. is the President of EPS. From his office in Greenville, SC, Billy covers South Carolina & western North Carolina sales territory. Billy had been in the electrical sales industry for 12 years prior to joining EPS, in 2009. Billy’s experience includes sales, management, and technical specialist roles. Billy is responsible for, and runs our Company’s sales and operations. Billy is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Billy’s responsibilities include supporting our sales efforts, growing customer loyalty, and aligning our product offering and solutions to the electrical industry in the Carolinas.
Garry Ankrom is Vice President of EPS. Based out of Union Mills, NC, Garry covers our central and eastern North Carolina sales territory. Garry is a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He has over 20 years of experience working with electrical equipment manufacturers, and has been involved in sales for more than 12 years. Garry’s responsibilities include directing our sales efforts in NC, providing sales and technical support to customers, and performing customer site visits to resolve customer field issues and obtain critical design information to support factory quoting efforts.
Rusty Rathbone is the Office Manager for EPS. Rusty has over 30 years of experience in the Carolina’s market, in Distribution, Sales, and Customer Service. In addition, he worked with Walker & Whiteside Electrical Contractors as a Project Manager & Estimator, and is a licensed Electrician. Rusty's knowledge and experience is a valued asset of EPS. Rusty is in charge of our Corporate Administration and Sales Support.
Bill Simon, Sr. retired from active sales in January of 2017, but remains as an Officer and Consultant to the Company.
Bill has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry in the Carolinas market. Bill is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bill's professional sales and management experience began with Westinghouse Corporation as a Sales Engineer for construction, industrial, and power distribution projects. Bill spent 11 years in sales with Maddux Supply Company, a full line Electrical Distributor, focusing on large construction and industrial projects. Prior to joining EPS, Bill spent 15 years in Sales, Sales Management, and General Management with McNaughton-McKay Electric Company.
